All of our shots are cold-pressed, which means that they are not heated, not heat pasteurized, nor chemically treated. By applying thousands of pounds of pressure, our cold-press juicer keeps all of the nutrients intact.
Heat pasteurization, no matter how “lovingly” or “gently” it is done, results in a juice that has been effectively heated (thus, cooked), killing essential vitamins, minerals, and live enzymes. At SLAPP, we NEVER apply heat on any produce or juices.
Yes. One cannot use the term organic on its labels if it is not certified. We have always used organic ingredients, but now we have the stamp of approval that we always do. We are proudly certified organic by Ecocert Canada ( USDA organic and Canada organic). Without that certification, a product is not guaranteed organic and you may be getting less for your money.
We’re able to extend the shelf life of our sealed ginger shots using pressure—not preservatives or additives. Right after production, each bottle is placed in a pool of cold water where thousands of pounds of pressure are applied for several seconds.
To paint a picture—it’s like taking our shots to the bottom of a 60 km deep ocean (if such an ocean existed!). This process locks in freshness while preserving the vitamins, enzymes, minerals, and bold flavor of raw ginger and other natural ingredients.
We guarantee at least 60 days of shelf life when your order arrives. The expiry date is printed right on the bottle.
Once opened, the shots are to be drunk within 4 days. Separation is a sign that no homogenizing agents were added and only natural ingredients were used. Shake well and enjoy.
Since there are fresh products, freezing our products could affect the quality o the nutrients they contain. The best way to store our products is to keep them in the refrigerator at all times until consumption.
In addition, when a liquid freezes it expands. It could therefore cause leakage and loss of juice. If you still want to freeze your shots, we suggest you pour them into an ice tray for a mess-free result.
It is one of the most common phenomena with freshly pressed shots, and it’s a sign that the shots you’re drinking is made with all-natural produce. It’s always a good idea to shake your shots before consuming it.
All SLAPP products are nut free. No shots were made with nuts.
Also, no ingredients contains gluten in all our shots. However we are NOT certified gluten free.

Shipping & Delivery
Orders typically arrive within 4 business days. Don’t worry—our ginger shots are safe in transit for up to 4 days without ice. We ONLY ship from monday to wednesday.
Shipping is $10 for orders under $80. Orders over $80 (after discounts and taxes) ship for free!

Warranty
We don’t have a formal warranty, but we do have your back. If something’s off with your order, we’ll make it right—no hassle, no stress. We care deeply about our customers and take pride in owning our mistakes. Just get in touch and we’ll take care of you.
Returns & Refunds
Because our ginger shots are perishable, we don’t offer refunds for change-of-mind or delivery delays outside our control. That said, if your order arrives damaged, spoiled, or incorrect—we’ll make it right. Just contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order and we’ll take care of you.
A refund request can be submitted within a month after the purchase is made.
SUBSCRIPTION
You are in full control of your subscription. If you want to modify its content, change delivery date, put it on hold or cancel it, you can do everything directly in your customer portal.
You can pause your subscription directly in your customer dashboard. You just have to log in to access the menu.
You can cancel your subscription at any moment at no cost. You can do it directly in your customer portal.
